8 General APA Guidelines Employees’ job satisfaction 2 Abstract The issue of Job Satisfaction, Motivation in the workplace and the role of Job Characteristics have been the cause of intensive research for many years now and have given rise to many theories. It is often assumed that all employees receive satisfaction by the same things. Actually a whole range of factors satisfies employees. The way supervisors treat their subordinates is obviously very important. The four dimensions of management that are researched upon in this paper are planning, organizing, controlling and motivating.
