Survey of TV and its viewers (Part 2 / 3) By Pascal Lacroix Friday, December 15, 2006 The second part of the survey: this time, I offer the results of the survey. This note presents the survey results presented in the first part . After two weeks, I get the polls and I decided to consolidate all into a spreadsheet. Since I had no particular tool to analyze the answers, so I just tried to do grouping "by hand" by counting the answers myself. It was not too difficult since there are only 30 responses. I propose now the answers to the questionnaire. Responses Question 1: How many hours per week do you watch TV (on average)? People watch television most often between five and ten hours per week (50%). A portion (20%) look a little less (between two and five) and another portion (20%) look a little more (more than ten hours). Question 2: What time of day do you watch television in general? More than half of respondents (66%) watch television at night. A portion (16%) at midday and evening. Very few have responded in the morning.
