(10 marks) Answer: Mission provides sustentative guidance because it is defined by buyer’s needs it seeks to satisfy, the customer groups and market segments it is endeavoring to serve, resources and t echnologies that it is deploying in trying to please its customers. It provides the business purpose, raison d etere for employees as well as for other stake holders Vision: is a roadmap showing the route a company intends to take in developing and strengthening its business. It paints a picture of company’s destination and provide a rationale for going there. It delineates management’s aspiration for business, providing a panoramic view of “ where we are going,” and a convincing rationale for why this makes a good business sense for a company. Thus vision points an organization in a particular direction, charts a strategic path for it to follow in preparing for future, and molds organizational identity. It becomes important that vision should be communicated in such a way it steers the energies of company personnel in a common direction to achieve the aspirations of management.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
