EIPB Chapter 1: Study Questions Q1: What are the 8 basic characteristics of people with integrity as discussed under the Snapshot of Integrity? People who posses integrity, are able to understand and communicate their own value systems. They can also communicate with other people who do not share the same value system as their own. They have a good imagination and they often think about long and short term consequences for the choices that they make. They treat people with respect, even when they do not always deserve it. People with integrity, have good relationships with family, friends, co-workers, peers, customers, and other classifications of people. They are not “yes men,”but when they disagree they do so with compassion and dignity. They are considered to be brave, humble, honest, and fair. Question 5. What are the basic causes of personal misconduct? 1. Ignorance- This is divided into two categories. The first one is doing something wrong because you did not know that it was wrong. The other is doing something wrong to get something else from happening. 2. Malice-This is misconduct done by someone who knows that it is wrong and simply does it anyway. 3.
