Griswold, Chemical Education Resources) COURSE: _______________________________________ INSTRUCTOR: ____________________________________ Before working in the laboratory, read carefully the safety precaution and techniques for each experiment described in the material and techniques for each experiment described in the material your instructor provides. BE SAFE. Be aware that carelessness in a laboratory can be very dangerous. There are few places with higher concentration of sharp objects, toxic chemicals, and hazardous vapors. Be careful and think about what you are doing. If you are injured in any way or if you fell unwell, notify your instructor immediately. 1) Wear safety goggles or glasses with OSHA side shields (and any other safety apparel recommended by your (instructor) at all times in the laboratory. 2)
