This template is to be used to map the proposed evidence and the submitted evidence by the RPL candidate against the unit of competency
requirements.

RPL Mapping and Evidence
Complete the template below to capture the Proposed Evidence, what instruments would best meet the unit of competency requirements and the
Submitted Evidence actual evidence submitted from the candidate . The assessor must review and map all RPL evidence presented to support the
RPL assessment judgement and meet the principles of assessment.
Note: Evidence can be grouped together, for example Portfolio A (which may contain a number of documents). Suitable comments should be made
where required.
Proposed Evidence , map the unit of competency to the instruments:
 Record the portfolio reference numbers from the portfolio instrument you created, next to the unit of competency component, where there is a
choice use “or” and enclose the option in a bracket. Where an option requires more than one piece of evidence bracket together.
 Record the question numbers from your question bank next to the unit of competency component
Submitted Evidence, following receipt of actual evidence from the candidate:
 Record the portfolio reference number of the evidence received next to the unit of competency component (note this may mean the candidates
portfolio items are not sequential and not all items are required)
 Record the question numbers of the actual questions used next to the unit of competency component
 Record S for Satisfactory or US for unsatisfactory to indicate whether the portfolio evidence received and the questions answered meet the
requirements.
