Read the section on immigration in Chapter 14 of your textbook and the article in Week Seven folder titled  “Immigration myths and facts.” Assess the advantages and disadvantages of a nation having a substantial  immigrant population (be sure to distinguish between documented and undocumented immigrants ) based on  these two documents. You are allowed to add other sources as well but it is very important that you use the  documents provided in your postings before you state your personal opinion and/or information from other sources. Documented immigrants-is an outsider admitted to the United States as a permanent resident. An immigrant can  be labeled as documented if he/she 1. Establishes residency 2. Wishes to reside in America permanently. 3. And  swears to allegiance or solemnly affirms that he/she will respect the laws of the Constitution.
