Unformatted text preview: Chapter 11 Commentary Chapter 11 dealt with more legal culture things such as laws, judges, and the rules of law in different forms. One important part of the judicial system is the choosing of the judges. Judges of course must not be favorable to one side or another but also must respect the system of law and justice. But as we talked about in the discussion board with judicial independence, how do we really know what these judges are really doing and thinking? With the possibilities of losing their jobs some judges would do almost anything, whether it is the right decision or not. But on the other side of this, maybe better actions must be done to help keep these judges jobs when they make a right and sometimes unpopular decision.
