Have to meet certain requirements Have no obligation to provide charity care   Corporations Corporations pay taxes - one of the ways they can reduce their taxes is if they make a  donation to a non-profit organization and get a deduction on their taxes (applies to  individuals as well)   A corporation, in the eyes of the law, is a person that can own the enterprise and have  debts. This means the individuals who started the business can't be held liable for their own  assets.    How do you set up a corporation?
