Thursday, December 9, 9:0010:50
New Material:
Sections 5.3, 6.16.3, 6.5, 6.6
Old Material:
Any problem on the exam that is based on old material will be
similar

previous two exams, you should be able to do the problems on the final.
Procedure:
The exam will be closed book.
You will be allowed one sheet of notes, 81/2
by 11 inches, front and back.
You may not use any graphing calculators of any kind.
You
may bring in a basic calculator if you want.
How to Study:
The exam will be the same style as the last two exams.
It will have
straightforward computation questions (diagonalize a matrix, dot products, orthogonal
projections, GramSchmidt) and the exam will have “understanding” questions.
Note
that “understanding” questions have been emphasized recently.
Of course, show all of your work.
You should run through all of the True/False questions.
