In rabbinical texts, they are referred to as Aseret ha- Dibrot. meaning word, speak or thing The Ten Commandments First tablet- contains the first five declarations, identifies duties regarding our relationship with G-d, Second tablet- contains the last five declarations, identifies duties regarding our relationship with other people.
