Axia College Material Appendix D Contingency Theory of Leadership Description of work environment The type of work that I have in mind is a health care service company that provides medical rehabilitation and early-intervention to clients (i.e., schools, nursing homes and the public). The company has a friendly work environment and a top quality specialist. In the table below, categorize different leadership approaches that could be used in the work environment you have described. Provide different suggestions for each of the four approaches to leadership. Directive approach Supportive approach I will greet the group of specialist and afterwards, take them into the conference room to start the new hire orientation. I will explain that we are a disadvantage small business and that our goal is to meet every client’s needs. I hand each the company handbook and inform them that they should become familiar with deadlines and more importantly the company policies. I walk each individual through the paperwork
