Three Law Enforcement Agencies that I believe are the most important are the local sheriff and police departments, the DEA, and SWAT. These three agencies to me are the most important because they all work together when needed, and they are all there to help keep our communities a safe place to be. The local police departments and sheriff’s department are there to patrol the communities, control traffic, and report to break-ins when reported. The local law enforcement agencies are there to help make our home towns a more secured safer place to be. The DEA on the other hand is there to break up illegal drug activities. The DEA works with local agencies, depending on who has jurisdiction over the area where the investigations are taking place. With the right amount of evidence and reliable information, the DEA will then complete their duties and

This is an important agency because the DEA is one of the main agencies that deal with large drug busts. This helps our communities in the way of helping to keep drugs off our streets. Finally the SWAT team is part of all police agencies. Whether it is local, county, state, there is a SWAT team within each police agency. This is an important agency because they are the ones who are on the front of the line when serving search warrants, capturing a fugitive; an even when there is a robbery or any situation where there may be people with their lives in danger. The SWAT team is there to lead the remaining crew safely into a place that is being served with a search warrant, and to help maintain the safety of the public when needed....
