Checkpoint Implicit Association Test · What was the result of your IAT? Do you think that the test produced valid results in your case? This was the first time that I’ve ever taken an IAT. I have to say that it was quite entertaining. I chose to do the Race IAT. The result of my IAT was that I had a slight automatic preference African Americans compared to European Americans. I fell into the group of only 6%. That isn’t a bad thing I just found it interesting to say the least, especially since I’m white. I do think that it produced valid results in my case somewhat because I could tell the black people right off the get go because of their facial features and it would take me a second longer to initiate the white people, but it was fun, and I wouldn’t mind taking another IAT again. · In your opinion, is it difficult to accurately measure prejudice? Why or why not? In my opinion, I do think that it’s difficult to measure prejudice. You never know what someone is thinking, not even your closest friends and family. I’m not
