Unformatted text preview: would undergo meiosis for reproduction purposes. If it wasn’t for meiosis then there would be no more reproduction and all the cells would cease. When it comes to meiosis it is almost exactly the same thing as mitosis but the cells undergo meiosis twice. I think that this is the easiest way for me to remember the two, if you didn’t go through mitosis than you wouldn’t be able to have children, and if you didn’t go through meiosis than if you got cut then that cut would never heal because the skin cells in which you cut would never grow back....
