Office Location: HEC 304. TA: Spencer Fonte Email:spencer.fonte@knights.ucf.edu Class objectives : The rapid pace of the developments in all areas of Computer Science requires the ability to read and analyze critically important ideas from scientific papers, technical reports, patents, and so on. Many students enrolled in this class will graduate soon thus, the need to develop and test these skills; this is precisely the objective of this class. Class organization : Each student enrolled in this class is expected to search the literature for the influential papers in the area selected for presentation, read them carefully, make an oral presentation on a paper related of one of the 12 broad topics listed in Table 2 for weeks 2 to 13. Each student should also provide a review for every presentation made by other students. Literature : The Literature document on the class Web site provides links to several classical and survey papers. For example, a student who choose to make a presentation related to Turing
