Introduction Meet the Hosts Teresa Greely Coordinator of Outreach Education at the University of South Florida, Department of Marine Science We are pleased to once again welcome Teresa Greely as an instructor for our first fall Project Oceanography series! Teresa Greely, M.S., serves on the Marine Science faculty as Coordinator of Educational Outreach for the USF’s Department of Marine Science. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Natural Sciences discipline in 1985 from New College, the Honor’s campus of USF located in Sarasota, Florida. She was then awarded a Master of Science Degree in Biological Oceanography (Marine Science) in 1994 from the USF’s Department of Marine Science located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Teresa manages a science program for pre-college students entitled “The Oceanography Camp for Girls”; and works closely with six school districts to provide science activities and workshops for teachers. She also has developed and instructed a graduate course for secondary science teachers entitled “Experiential Learning in Oceanography”. In addition to those duties, in the fall of 1997, Teresa developed and instructed a science series in Fish Ecology for Project Oceanography....
