For answers requiring written answers, while no more than five or six sentences are expected, sufficient justification must be given for any position, opinion, or perspective taken. 1.1 Connectivity (5 pts) Contrast link and physical connectivity on the internet. 1.2 Packets and overhead (20 pts) You are uploading a 2.1 MB (Megabyte) image to Facebook. In order to upload it, your computer will convert it into a series of packets. Each packet will carry at most 1000 bytes of data. The header of each packet (containing routing and other administrative information) is exactly 64 bytes. Assuming that your computer doesn’t need to resent any packets: 1. How many packets will your computer send? (5 pts) 2. How much information will your computer send in total? (5 pts) 3. How much overhead (non-data) information did your computer have to send?
