Group Policies allow for centralized control over user and computer configuration settings. 3. Group Policies can be applied to security groups in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 domain. 4. The Group Policy is applied to all computer or user objects within the container where the Group Policy  object is defined. When conflicts arise, User Configuration settings take precedence over Computer  Configuration settings. 5. If more than one Group Policy is applied, the policies are processed from the top down 6. Group Policies can be filtered to security groups in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 domain.
