Lesson 12 True/False Indicate whether the sentence or statement is true or false. 1. IPSec implements encryption and authenticity at a lower level in the TCP/IP stack than do Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)  and Transport Layer Security (TLS). An application has to be IPSec-aware. 2. You can use Network Monitor to inspect the contents of Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) packets that are encrypted with  Encapsulating Security Payloads (ESP). 3. L2TP/IPSec clients cannot be placed behind a NAT server unless the VPN client and VPN server understand NAT  Traversal (NAT-T). 4. Whenever the Layer Two Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) is used to establish a virtual private network (VPN), IPSec filters do  not have to be defined because Windows Server 2003 automatically enables IPSec ESP protection for the L2TP tunnel.
