I would say that you can assume that larger facilities handle more records. Smaller facilities usually only have one to two doctors, medium size facilities are usually two to three doctors, and large facilities are usually three or more doctors or could be a clinic where there are a lot of patients that are seen throughout the day. The greatest challenge that I can see for record management in small, medium, and large facilities is they all seem to have problems with either keeping paperwork filed correctly or some facilities would like to go all electronic. I have noticed that the small facilities are still using paper files and having trouble with keeping the paperwork in the correct chart or misplacing files. With the medium facilities some are still using paper
