Find the following properties for this steam Internal energy, u, btu/lbm Specific volume,v, cubic feet/lbm Enthalpy, h, btu/lbm Entropy, s, btu/lbmR 2. If this steam is allowed to enter a turbine where energy is extracted in the form of mechanical energy (it spins the turbine!) and its pressure drops to 15 psia but its entropy stays at 1.7110 btu/lbmR (this is called an isentropic expansion), what is the state (condition) of the steam? 3. A storage tank holds 75 cubic meters of a gas at 28deg C and a pressure of 130kPa. The gas appears to have a molecular weight of 30 from tests run in a laboratory. Estimate the mass of the gas in the tank in kg assuming the gas behaves as an ideal gas. If the gas warms up to 35 deg C as it sits in the sun all day, what would the pressure rise to? 4.
