Anshum Sood Ms. Brydon AP Environmental Science 20 July 2007 Counting Region’s Trees is a Tall Order : Published 8 July 2007 While most people are counting their money, there is a group f volunteers who are devoting their time in tabulating Sacramento region’s trees. There are seventy-five volunteers working with the Sacramento Tree Foundation to measure most of the Sacramento region, which spans from Sutter to Solano. The estimated time to complete the efforts is scheduled for one month. The volunteers are counting just some of the many circular plots that are randomly spread out the region.
