Power and Leadership 2 Business owners deal with certain issues about tardiness. When a worker is tardy a certain amount of times, they then get a write up. The more write-ups the more the issue becomes. With dealing with such negligence within the working environment can be stressful to the business owners. Identify at least one source of power that would assist Jack and Jenny to address tardy managers and employees. Jack and Jenny can benefit from all four of powers. The biggest one I want to focus on is the Referent Power. This power demonstrates that a leader has personal characteristics that appeal to others. Having someone that everyone looks up to is a knobble way to set a point across to the employees. Describe the characteristics of a leader who employs such power as described in

The main characteristics of this power are admiration, personal liking, a desire for approval, or a desire to be the leader. Explain how this type of power could be implemented by Jack and Jenny to correct problems associated with employees and store managers reporting late for work. Having this sort of power will demonstrate how the person is always on time. Showing this will also come with great achievements in the lateness. Many people look up to certain types of Power and Leadership 3 managers when they come into work. That is why I feel the Referent will have the biggest impact in the business environment.
