Cultural Environment Issues 3 Within the world today people deal with what they call pollution. The issues with this can harm every living organism within our planet. Our environmental issues have started since the dawn of time. When men discovered fire in 1750000A.J.C. (B.C.), they found a new foundation within the world. Finding this new foundation has opened the doors to today’s society. From the discovery of fire it has grown within this world to trust it. Therefore some cause so much within our community that it is hard to focus on our lives without seeing flames. Even though men discovered a good resource, some people suffer from its existence. People do not take into affect about the Greenhouse Effect, “The Greenhouse Effect, also referred to as global warming, is generally believed to come from the buildup of carbon dioxide gas in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is produced when fuels are burned. Plants convert carbon dioxide back to oxygen, but the release of carbon dioxide from human activities is higher than the world's plants can process. The situation is made worse since many of the earth's forests are being removed, and plant life is being damaged by acid rain.” (Justices nix Bush ) Our climate cannot deal with such rapid changes within our communities. There are some people who wish to gain more knowledge from our planet then to harm it. There are many people who say, you live in what you live in so why worry about it. Additional resources and information about the Greenhouse Effect and global warming are available from the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), the Science Education Academy of the Bay Area (SEABA) and the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ).

Cultural Environment Issues 4 Within the studies of the greenhouse effect, “Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth would not be warm enough for humans to live,” (The EPA, 2006.) Some believe in using harmful pesticides to get rid of certain bugs and plants. The smog from these substances can generate an issue within the environment. Most people use insecticide spray to get rid of certain critters such as cockroaches. Many use the bait, in studies the bait is for sufficient to use while inside of your home. With the bait it may take longer to get rid of certain critters, therefore using the powerful spray with poisons and toxins are rather helpful. Some people believe in using the sprays within the home, can cause lung damage to humans.
