The endocrine system helps coordinate and integrate of psychological reactions. The nervous system and endocrine system work together to keep our chemical balance in our bodies. The endocrine gland releases a chemical called hormone. Which this is carried through the bloodstream. The hormones are like neurotransmitter, which carries messages, and travel slower. Psychologist are interest in hormones for two main reasons, the first reason the hormones can organize a body and the nervous system. The second reason the hormones can control the behavior like happiness or sexual behaviors. In addition, it can affect mood or ability to learn in a person. There are many glands in a human body and some are responsible for how a person acts. One gland is the thyroid gland, which is located below the voice box and the larynx. The thyroid gland produce a hormone called thyroxin. Thyroxin helps regulate metabolism and determine how alert the person is. If a person experiences an overactive thyroid, the person may have
