The medias portrayal of sexuality has had very negative effects on adolescents sexual lives. The media influences adolescents to have unhealthy sexual views, which may encourage them to partake in irresponsible sexual activities or develop inappropriate sexual behaviors. Sex is portrayed irresponsibly in the media and most teenagers use the media as a source of information. The media has a huge impact on the way teens view sexuality, especially with the prevalence of televisions and the internet.
