6228987 The journeys of changing behaviour towards healthy eating was not easy and was filled with obstacles. But small steps taken towards healthy eating brought a lot of positive changes mentally and physically. Following are the steps of Transtheoretical theory, through which I will reflect my journey towards Eating Healthy. The Transtheoretical Model ( Pack Health, 2019 ) Pre-contemplation :My journey started at first stage of the transtheoretical model. I was totally aware of my rising weight and knew that my unhealthy eating habits needed to be changed. But I turn a blind eye to it and focused more on the disadvantages of eating healthy i.e. High cost of fresh produce, limited varieties/ sources, consumes more time to prepare meals and demanding University lifestyle. These also acted as barriers to me. Contemplation :As I already knew about my problematic health issues. Unhealthy was just amplifying the issue. To overcome my neglecting behaviour to my healthy I started meditating and focusing on my final goal i.e. is to be healthy and lose 3 kg in 10 weeks. To prepare myself I started to compare both unhealthy lifestyle and healthy lifestyle, which gave me a broader picture and necessary motivation to take the challenge.
