Unformatted text preview: WELCOME TO GLOBAL UNDERSTANDING (SSC305- Fall 2011) To get off to a good start do the following: 1. Review all the information on the Course Content Page. Pay close attention to the Syllabus and the files in the Course Information (especially "How to Take this Course"). 2. Navigate the course, visiting all the links on the menu to the left of the screen. 3. After visiting those links send me an email confirming that you've read the Syllabus and understand the requirements of the course. (ONLY USE THE EMAIL CLIENT INSIDE THE COURSE). 4.Go to the Discussion Board and complete the Welcome and Introduction discussion. After completing those assignments you should be ready to go. However, post any general questions you may have on the Discussion Thread set aside for general questions. Chances are that others have the same questions and individual email answers aren't an efficient way to distribute information or to answer course questions.
