Unformatted text preview: The future workplace will involve work task to be done right from your home. With todays technology you dont even have to leave your residence to conduct business. With help from the computer you are one click away from sending instant messages, voice media and scheduling your business statistics using programs such as Excel and Access. Technology has given us the opportunity to be more productive, the open office environment distracts from the potential productivity the employee can offer. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Businesses can capitalize on the evolving nature of the office by striking a balance that combines virtual and physical work and space. This could ultimately increase productivity and lower costs without sacrificing company culture or individual motivation.
