Reflection and Self-assessment 7.1 If you’re like most accounting students, you love pizza. Think about the process of ordering and making a pizza. Identify the strategically significant operating events associated with those two processes; then identify the relevant resources and agents. What information would you want to capture in a relational database about each item you identify? The strategically significant operating events would be taking an order, making a pizza, and delivery method. Relevant resources and agents - Taking order - resources would include the order sheet (either paper or computer based), cash register, and EFT machine. Agents would include the employee (cashier) and the customer. I would want to capture who took the order, date and time, how much in dollars they ordered, what they ordered, method of payment, any coupons or discounts, phone or walk-in, and delivery method dine-in, take-out, or delivery.
