A Problem-Oriented Approach (custom 6th edition for UCSC). Office Hours Tuesday 2:30 –4:30 pm Friday 3:30 – 5:00 pm and by appointment Discussion Sections & Quizzes You must be enrolled in one discussion section for this course. You can choose either a once a week or twice a week section. However, it is strongly recommended that you enroll in a twice a week section if you received 25 points or below in your Math placement test, a grade lower than a B in Math 2 or you feel you need more help with math to be successful. During sections, you will get an opportunity to ask questions from on-line homework, take weekly quizzes and review concepts supplemental to the class lecture. Sections are mandatory.
