People belong in their own society. They try to find their own identity. In Korean society in America, people category themselves into two groups: ABC and FOB. ABC, American born children, is group of people who born in the United States of Korean ethnic descent. Another group, FOB, is stands for fresh off the boat. This term describes immigrants that have arrived from a foreign nation and have not yet assimilated into the United State’s culture, language, and behavior. These people intend to keep the trends from the country they came from and who recently came from an Asian country to the United States. When these two different groups of people meet, it causes problem due to their different culture; people usually have miscommunication. describe what other problems might be involved rather than just one. The worst case will be having miscommunication between parent and children. For example,
