STUDENT: I agree. Body language says a lot. You can get a feeling of how the person really feels about what you are talking about by how they react or their facial expressions or how they hold themselves. PARTICIPATION: I could not agree more when you stated that body language says a lot. Body language refers to those gestures and movements that someone can make with his or her body, which convey information about her or his mood, feelings or attitude. However, too often I experienced problems with miscommunication that were created by a misinterpretation of one of my smiles, looks, or gestures. I have also noticed that sometimes other people deliberately manipulate their body language to mislead me. Body language is so subjective that it is uncertain if miscommunication can be avoid as some people may not even realize that they are communicating language with their body while others have a difficult time interpreting people’s body language.
