Unformatted text preview: When is the exam? The AC222 final exam will take place on THURSDAY, MAY 12, at 6 PM. This is a TWO-HOUR exam . Where are we taking the exam? PLEASE NOTE YOU MAY BE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION FROM YOUR FIRST TWO EXAMS. We appreciate your coming to the CORRECT ROOM. WE WILL CHECK IDS AND SEND PEOPLE TO THE CORRECT ROOM. ID NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH U0, 2, 4, 6, 9 LAW Auditorium ID NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH U1, 3, 5, 7, 8 MOR 101 If you are on the list of students with a conflict or disability, you should already have received the email notifying you of your exam time and location. PLEASE REMEMBER TO CONFIRM THE ARRANGMENT WITH A REPLY TO THE EMAIL. If you did not get the email, you arent on that list. As usual, LEAVE ONE EMPTY SEAT BETWEEN YOU AND THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU. Arrive early if you have a seating preference, as we cannot move other students to accommodate you if you arrive after most seats are taken. Are we still allowed to bring a sheet of notes to the exam? Yes! As usual, you may bring with you to the exam ONE SHEET of notes, 8-1/2 x 11, two-sided, whatever content you wish. Bring a cheat sheet that you will USE, not something photocopied and reduced so that its unreadable, or copied from someone else that you cannot navigate. Can I still use my own programmable calculator? You may use any calculator you wish WITH THE EXCEPTION OF YOUR CELL PHONE. Well have a few extra calculators in case of emergencies. Everything else including your cell phone goes UNDER your seat . Which chapters are on the exam? The exam covers Chapters 9, 10 and 11 (including Appendices 10A and 11A) in the Noreen, Brewer and Garrison text, including any concepts covered in class, and any problems assigned. Note that we WONT ask anything from Appendix 11 B AC222 1 pd 8/10/11 AC 222 SPRING 2011 FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE What are the length and format of the exam? It will be two hours long, and consist of 16 conceptual multiple-choice questions, 16 calculations and 2 short essay questions. We expect the distribution to be: Chapter Concept M/C Problems 9 4 4 10 5 4 10A 2 11 6 5 11A 1 1 The 16 multiple choice / true-false questions will cover concepts (including vocabulary), not calculations. Indicate your answer by placing the letter of the best choice in the answer space for that question. The 16 problems will require writing your answer in the answer space usually just one number, or a number with a label ($10 / DL hour or $1,000 unfavorable for example), and then showing your work in a designated space below and on the back . Note that an answer with no work will be marked WRONG. The WORK will not be graded, nor will your question booklet be read . NO WORK, NO CREDIT. You dont have to write EVERYTHING in the space...
