1. In a strategic HR environment there are four specific roles that can add value to an organization. Value of performance is of major importance because it shows how employees assess themselves. High performance by employees means high performance for the company, so it is necessary that employees like what they do and are constantly striving to perform better. Work ethic is also very valued in strategic HR because employees need to have motivation to develop their skills and apply them to their everyday job. Without a great work ethic, employees are down in morale leaving the company down in profits. Time adds value to a strategic organization as well because companies need time to invest in their people. Without the time to invest in their people, companies cannot continually develop their employees’ knowledge and skills to better suit the rapidly changing environment of both the company and industry. Most importantly, employees add the most value to any strategic organization because they ultimately determine profits. If employees are motivated and knowledgeable they will work hard to deliver the best service/products possible; on the other hand, if employees have low morale when it comes to their job they will not do their best work and customers will be turned away from the company. 2.
