o Explain the difference between Muslims and Arabs. Arabs are of nationality and can belong to any religion. Muslims are people that follow the strict religion of Islam. o According to research and news reports within the past 2 years, what are some of the changes the United States has made to policies concerning the treatment of Muslim and Arabic members of society? To tell you the truth, the United States haven’t done a whole lot to change the policies concerning the treatment of these groups. Especially after 9/11 Muslim and Arabic Americans are subjects of investigations by our FBI and other law enforcement without much concern for whether they are right or wrong. They are suspect due to their race and creed. o List two to three characteristics of Orientalism. How may Orientalism and prejudice contribute to hate crimes against these groups?
