About Professor Bhuyan Professor Bhuyan earned his Ph.D. from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He earned his M.Sc. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Bhuyan is a Fulbright Scholar and has had teaching experience over 20 years in numerous universities in North America and Overseas. Dr. Bhuyan supervised Graduate thesis for graduate students, served as external for PhD thesis. Course Description This course is one of the specialty courses in finance. In this course, students will learn about the structure of financial markets, instruments, and their risk characteristics. Students will learn about diversification in asset management, optimal allocation, and performance measurement and further decision making in asset allocation.
