Scarre-- These Were the Romans , J. Badcock & G.I.F. Tingay-- As the Romans Did , J. Shelton -- The Aeneid , Vergil, trans by R. Fagles-- The Golden Ass , Apuleius, trans by P.G. Walsh-- Sixteen Satires , Juvenal, trans by P. Green-- Dialogues and Letters , Seneca, trans by C.D.N. Costa--New Testament, any translation--We may read from other primary sources such as Livy, Ovid, Caesar, Cicero, and Epictetus. The texts for these authors may be found online at addresses I will provide.
