Ben-Zion, Adam’s Dream 1943, oil on canvas 52x63 in. Private collection. Born in the Ukraine, arrived in New York. Became a writer in Hebrew language but gave up writing for painting because he could not express in writing his objection to Nazis in Germany. True commitment to American Jewish art. Importance on keeping the tradition.
