I presented a lesson named “Reason for flowers” to my class and I feel it went very well. However, there are a few of aspects of the lesson that I would change. All in all, the students were extremely engaged and truly seemed interested in the lesson. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish the entire power point and lesson due to time constraints related to the FCAT (our standardized test in Florida). Most of our allotted instructional time is being used for review as testing begins on Monday April 11 th . The students did extremely well in the observing the portions of the lesson that we actually got to cover. For example, the class really did a wonderful job on examining components of flowers and labeling the features of a dicot seed. In the past, it seemed my students would just go through the motions during experiments, but in this lesson
