27 th July 2011 Module 5, Group 3 DB3 RE: 22-6 Ethics & Equity “A Divorce Threatens S Status” Morrie should respond to the board’s proposals with that will give him peace. The board’s proposal, in my opinion, is extremely appalling. This is where many of Accountants get a bad reputation because of underhanded and misrepresentations of fact. First, the proposal as to staying married until 2010 so the company can buy back its shares is disgusting. If the marriage is not working out, the company should in no way as Morrie to remain married just so the company is able to keep its S election. The marriage is between Morrie and Kristy. The second proposal should not be considered because again the marriage is between Morrie and Kristy. Marriage is sacred promise to God and should not be abused in any way. The third proposal is just as bad. The company should not encourage other shareholders to marry just because the company would maintain its S election.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
