We know that distance = rate * time That means that time = distance / rate We know that the ‘to and from’ time was 5 hours.  We know that going is a rate of five less than the return trip.  So we will let r = rate going and r – 5 = rate returning Now let’s set it up We will multiply by the lcd which is r(r-5)
