What amendment was at the center of this event and what organization led the legal process surrounding the event? After the Civil Rights Movement started, how did Americans, particularly occupants of the South, show resistance to the change that was coming? Part II Complete the following matrix by identifying at least seven (7) leaders or legislative events from both the Civil Rights and Black Power movements. The first leader is provided as a model. Please remember that, although it is difficult to pinpoint when movements start, the best estimates of the Civil Rights and Black Power Movements are between 1940 and 1979.
