When draining the coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted by ethylene glycol antifreeze, and are quite likely to drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantity. Always drain the coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or several years old. 2. Remove the cylinder front cover and water pump, drive belt, and camshaft timing gear. 3. Use the clutch aligner T71P-P-7137-H or equivalent and remove the crankshaft sprocket. To install: 4. Align the keyway in the gear with the key, then slide the gear onto the shaft, making sure that it seats tight against the spacer. Feed the timing chain around the crankshaft sprocket and then around the camshaft sprocket. Install the camshaft sprocket together with timing chain as an assembly. Align all necessary timing marks. 5. Check the camshaft end play. Refer to checking camshaft. If not within specifications, replace the thrust plate. 6. Align the keyway in the crankshaft gear with key in the crankshaft, and align the timing marks. Install the gear, using a crankshaft sprocket replacer tool. 7. Install the cylinder front cover following the procedures in this section. Install the oil pan and radiator.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
