E-commerce is the transaction of funds on a computer network such as the Internet. E- bay is an online auction and shopping website where people and businesses sell and buy a wide variety of goods and services worldwide. E-bay was founded in 1995 around the same time as amazon.com INC.

Coupled with PayPal which is an online bank account, this allows users to not leave their computers to complete online transactions. EBay has made purchasing items online simple, and allows people to bid on items like and auction. This allows smaller business’s to expand their client base and opens a whole new world of consumers and sellers. I have used eBay in the past to make many sales and purchases. This allows somebody to make purchases in bulk and sell them individually, which allows a person to make a buck....
