BILD 2: Homework Assignment I Due Monday, August 8 th at the beginning of class . Homework assignments turned in after class on Monday will lose 20% of the points earned for the assignment. Late assignments will be docked an additional 10% per day that it is late. 1) Structures of the Mammalian Digestive Tract (5 points) The alimentary canal of mammals is specialized for ingesting, digesting, and excretion with nutrient absorption taking place along the way. In the space below, make a simplified sketch of the human alimentary canal (simple as in using squares and rectangles to symbolize the different structures). On your diagram, label the following structures: anus, esophagus, gall bladder, liver, large intestine, small intestine, stomach, pancreas, rectum, mouth.
