Consult with Dr. Crisalle if you want to access matlab from home INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING MATLAB FROM HOME The Matlab license held by the University of Florida allows students to use the program from their home computers over the internet, provided that the program use is for educational purposes only. Follow these steps to connect from a location outside the university network: a. Login to the UF network using the UF VPN (Virtual Private Network) software. You can download and install the VPN software for free at http://software.ufl.edu . b. Initiate a terminal session with grove.ufl.edu using a Unix terminal emulation software installed in your PC. Note that some terminal emulation programs do not Support. You can use X-Win32, a popular Unix X-Windows emulation software tool to obtain access to Matlab, with the advantage that all your graphs will also show up on your
