Taste The orange has a citrusy taste that is sweet and tangy (acidic). Hearing (i.e., what sound does an orange make when you drop it, tap it or peel it?) When I drop the orange on my kitchen table, it makes a distinct thud. When I tap it, it sounds solid; there is no echo. When I peel it, it makes a tearing sound. Correct Answer: [None] Feedback: [None Given] Question 2 0.5 out of 0.5 points Lab Report 2.2 - Observing an Orange Description of the orange. Selected Answer: I utilized my sense of sight to establish that the orange is round and orange in color. I also observed a small greenish spot at the top of the orange. There are numerous small, black dots on the skin of the orange. At the top of the orange, near the greenish spot, the orange is darker in color than at it is the bottom of the orange. The orange is firm and the skin is somewhat rough, which I determined by touching the orange. Prior to peeling the orange, there was no detectable odor to it. However, once peeled, the orange smelled tangy, sweet, and citrusy. When the orange is dropped on a hard surface it makes a thudding sound and does not bounce. When it is peeled, it makes a tearing sound. Correct Answer: [None] Feedback: [None Given]
