Human Mental Development- 9-20-10 At conception there are 23 chromosomes from a female and 23 chromosomes from a male, with that an embryo is formed. In each egg and sperm combination there are 8 million combinations of chromosomes. Heredity certainty is a big influence in development but environment influence is a factor. The environment can be described on what surround us: things included Love Nutrition Support Stimulation Several of people have studied and trained with Sigmund Freud and many of his ideas are in the framework of other people. Social Development 1908-1970 Maslow: He believed in “Humanistic” theory of development. Humans being are different than any other creatures and should be tested separated considering their different psychological views. He thought humans had creative potential; he emphasized growth and being spontaneous. We the humans want more than a reward or punishment. “Do NOT look at animals for behaviors.”
